Job summary

Jamestown Regional Medical Center in Jamestown, ND is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to perform nursing-related tasks under supervision and support ADLs for patients. The role requires a current CNA license or ND Nurse Aid Registry registration and will include reception/unit project duties as needed.

Shifts are evening and occasional day hours with a 48-hour biweekly schedule; the position is benefitted and on-site, with duties that include patient care, safety, documentation,

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure from the ND Board of Nursing for the current year; preferred Baccalaureate in Nursing.
• Completion of fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation courses is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene measures and patient care while considering patient age and development.
• Maintain clean patient environment and assist in feeding and mobility.
• Assist with pre/post operative care and use of medical equipment as directed by nursing staff.
• Record vital signs and intake-output; monitor patient condition and comfort.
• Support discharge planning and unit operations; transport patients as needed.
• Attend in-service education to learn new treatments and procedures.
