Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a dependable CNA caregiver for a male client with Parkinson's disease and dementia in Rancho Santa Fe. The role requires hands-on support, mobility assistance, and continuous supervision during mornings 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The position offers long-term, ongoing hours with a focus on safety, personal care, companionship, and reliable transportation responsibilities. A valid driver's license and background check clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification and strong caregiving experience.
• Experience with Parkinson's disease and dementia preferred.
• Knowledge of fall prevention and safety precautions.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Able to pass a background check and commit to a long-term schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide standby assistance with showers and personal hygiene.
• Assist with safe mobility using a walker and prevent falls.
• Follow fall precautions and monitor safety closely.
• Prepare meals and provide hydration reminders.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Offer companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Provide general supervision and well-being checks.
