Job summary

Riverside, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents at 745 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, 06108. This role focuses on compassionate daily care and resident well-being in a supportive team setting.

As a CNA for our Vent Unit, you will help with activities of daily living, monitor health, provide emotional support, and work with the nursing team to ensure high-quality care in a Great Place to Work

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required and must be in good standing with the state.
• Demonstrates compassion and empathy in daily resident care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and team.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Monitor and document vital signs and health status.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and follow care plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
