Qualifications

• Must possess a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• Must possess a sincere desire to serve the elderly.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.
• Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as assigned according to facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Support medical staff in administering care and daily living activities.
• Assist with bathing, hygiene, feeding, continence care and vital signs.
• Maintain a clean, homelike environment and report changes to nursing staff.
• Work within the scope of practice of a certified nursing assistant.
