Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to residents in Mt. Zion, IL. You will assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility, while maintaining accurate care records and reporting changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active State approved CNA certification in good standing.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Previous experience working with the elderly.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Provide incontinence care and positioning as needed.
• Keep accurate care records and report changes in residents’ conditions.
• Interact respectfully with residents, families, staff and visitors.
