Job summary

Civita Care Sheriden Woods in Bristol, CT, invites qualified CNAs to join our care team. Full-time or part-time shifts available (7a-3p, 3-11, 11-7). You will provide routine daily nursing care to residents under licensed staff guidance.

We seek individuals with CT CNA licensure (or in process), strong English communication, and a patient, team-oriented attitude. Benefits include competitive pay and opportunities for growth within the facility.

Qualifications

Must possess an active and unencumbered CNA license in Connecticut, or be in the process of obtaining one.
High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident.
Participate in planning and following current resident care plan on all residents under his/her care.
Complete resident assignments effectively and promptly.
Observe changes in resident conditions and promptly report them.
Document accurately and completely.
Meet personal grooming needs for each resident.
Promptly answer call lights and ensure they are within reach of residents.
Keep resident care areas clean and orderly.
Demonstrate correct safety techniques as per orientation and training.
Other duties assigned by manager.
