Aviata at Palm Bay wellness center in Palm Bay, FL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct care to residents. You will support daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility while upholding dignity and safety.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved CNA license, and the ability to read and communicate effectively. Orientation is provided as part of joining a dedicated team delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Completion of a state‑approved CNA license.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties.
• Ability to treat and care for seniors with dignity and respect.
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Aiding with daily tasks such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ condition and status.
• Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents.
• Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and cleaning up.
• Providing companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.
