THE BERNARD HEALTH INSTITUTE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You will help patients with daily living activities, provide compassionate care, and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene, and coordinating with nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and able to advocate for patients while following health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CNA certification, valid and active.
• First aid and CPR certification is required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling.
• Commitment to health and safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Compassionate, respectful, and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises.
• Provide adjunct patient care as directed.
• Monitor food intake and vitals as needed.
• Report changes to nurses and doctors promptly.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
