PLAZA in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. The role involves daily personal care, nutrition support, hydration, and documentation to support care plans.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of Florida.
• Active CPR certification preferred.
• At least 1 year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professional confidentiality and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and daily living activities for residents.
• Change bed linens and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with proper device use.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food intake.
• Turn and reposition residents regularly.
• Observe residents and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Assist in data collection for MDS and care plans.
• Ensure adequate hydration and assist with meals as needed.
• Prepare residents for meals and transport trays to dining area.
• Maintain accurate food intake/output records.
• Monitor environment for ventilation, temperature, light and noise.
• Take vitals (TPR, BP) as directed.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist with needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
