Job summary

The Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hernando, FL seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and contribute to a compassionate care environment for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, documenting intake/output, and supporting the care team to develop and implement plans of care.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from state of Florida.
• CPR certification preferred.
• At least one year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) of residents daily and as needed.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, and other information.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices.
• Prepare residents for meals and transport to dining room.
• Keep accurate records of food intake and hydration.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
