Job summary

Cadia Healthcare in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. The CNAs provide compassionate bedside care, assist with daily living activities, and support residents through admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

The chosen candidate will take vital signs, assist with meals, and help maintain a safe, clean environment across our facility.

Qualifications

• Must possess DE State CNA certification.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months CNA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission, discharge or transfer of residents.
• Take and record weights and vital signs as assigned.
• Assist residents in activities of daily living (personal hygiene, bathing, oral care, etc.).
• Pass meal trays and assist residents with meals.
• Escort residents to meals, activities, and appointments.
• Answer call bells in a timely manner and perform safety rounds.
• Keep resident rooms and service areas clean, orderly and safe.
• Complete documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
