Job summary

Effingham Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide direct resident care in the Care Center under the Charge Nurse and CNA Supervisor. You will communicate with medical staff and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced setting.

Position requires GA CNA certification, BLS CPR, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with one year of CNA experience preferred. The role emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. CNA training required.
• Must have and maintain Georgia CNA certification and BLS CPR.
• One year healthcare CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care under supervision (AM/PM care, ambulation, feeding support).
• Assist with activities of daily living and routines.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document resident status and share reports with Charge Nurse.
