Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required in Maryland.
• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification required.
• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or home health settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered caregiving approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.
• Administer medications accurately and safely as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT).
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, health changes, and daily progress.
• Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks and patient care plans.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights.
