Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 0.6 FTE night shift (7pm–7:30am, 3 twelve-hour shifts weekly with rotating weekends) in Portland, OR. The role supports RN-directed care and patient supervision on the Observation department.

Requirements include Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS from American Heart Association; preferred experience in hospital or long-term care settings.

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights

CNA - Clinical Decision Unit at Providence Portland Medical Center. This posting represents a 0.6 FTE, night shift opening (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care under the supervision and direction of an RN, utilizing the care plan. The CNA assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.
