Job summary

Good Samaritan Canistota is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the care team under RN supervision.

Shifts vary including day, evening, night and weekends. Full-time, 40 hours weekly with a pay range of $18.50–$25.50 per hour, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus and premium differentials of $5 per hour and $2.50 per hour for location.

Qualifications

• Assist with daily living activities and resident care under RN supervision.
• Monitor and record vital signs and respond to changes.
• Follow infection prevention policies and PPE usage.

Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan.
