Interim HealthCare of the Fox Cities is seeking personal care assistants to support elderly and challenged clients in their daily lives. Flexibility in scheduling and a competitive hourly rate of up to $25 are part of the offer. Ideal candidates will have a compassionate disposition and proven experience in caregiving.

The role requires assisting in personal care, medication administration, and light housekeeping, among other responsibilities, ensuring clients receive optimal support and companionship.

Qualifications

At least one (1) year of caregiving experience.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care needs.
Medication administration under supervision.
Assist with resident meals.

Answer resident call lights promptly.

Description

We are looking for personal care assistants to support elderly clients as well as physically or mentally challenged clients in their everyday lives. The fulfillment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job.

If you’re a compassionate, positive person who isn’t afraid to work hard, then this is a job for you. We expect you to be polite and a good communicator. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate.

We are looking for caregivers willing to travel up to 35 miles.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care needs (such as dressing, grooming, using the bathroom, bathing/showering, walking/transferring)
Medication administration (following medication training class and nurse delegation under the supervision of the Nurse Manager)
Assist with resident meals, including serving, dining room setup/clean up
Provide light housekeeping assistance (dusting, taking out garbage, laundry, making beds, vacuuming)
Answer resident call lights promptly and assists as needed
Promote teamwork and have a positive attitude
Enjoy providing residents with outstanding customer service
Provide emotional support
Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
