Job summary

PineView Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Sylvania, GA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care to residents. You will assist with daily living activities, take vital signs and document care, while collaborating with the nursing team to ensure the highest level of patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a GA CNA license, can lift and move patients, and passes a background check.

Qualifications

• CNA license in Georgia is required (CNA or CMA).
• Ability to lift/move patients and work with heavy equipment.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced setting with multiple priorities.
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff.
• Must pass background screening.
• Prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing and hygiene.
• Assist with activities of daily living and ambulation.
• Take vital signs and report changes to nurses.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and vital signs.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing staff or management.

CNA Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to our residents, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulation
• Take vital signs and report any changes in condition to nurses or other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and vital signs
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure the highest level of patient care
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing staff or management

CNA Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid license in Georgia (CNA or CMA license)
• Ability to lift and move patients, as well as push and pull heavy equipment
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Must be able to pass background screening
• Previous experience as a CNA in a long-term care or nursing home setting is preferred

CNA Shift Schedule:
