Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living is hiring CNAs to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and autism in daily living and personal care.

You will join a supportive team that values respect, compassion, and teamwork, with 12.5-hour shifts and both full-time and part-time options. Training is provided including medication administration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid CNA license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Compassionate and patient when supporting individuals with disabilities or mental health challenges.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living skills, personal care, and goal setting.
• Create a safe and positive environment where individuals served feel supported and respected.
• Assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, and keeping the home organized.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community events.
• Advocate for individuals served and document services provided.
• Administer medications as directed (training provided).
• Support social engagement, recreation, and personal development.

What You’ll Do as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Daily Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living skills, personal care, and goal setting.
