Job summary

The Mansion at Brigham in Newburyport is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You will provide direct care to residents, assist with daily living activities, and support a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

You will collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff, monitor residents for changes, and maintain accurate documentation to ensure high-quality care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and promoting independence
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
• Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or needs to the nursing team
• Participate in care conferences and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Maintaining accurate and timely records and documentation
• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Help residents with mobility and transfer assistance, including walking, wheelchairs, and scooters
• Provide vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with feeding, hydration, and incontinence care as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines
