Job summary

Kennesaw Village, Garden Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities in our warm assisted living community. You will assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, monitor changes in residents' conditions, and report to nursing staff; a compassionate, patient focus is essential for delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have a current CNA certification and a certificate of completion from an accredited CNA training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA, preferably in an assisted living or long-term care setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility support, including transferring residents and assisting with walking and physical therapy exercises.
• Monitor and document residents' physical and emotional conditions, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to infection control practices and safety protocols.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members to create a supportive and caring community.
