Bristol Hospice in Honolulu, HI seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide dignified, patient-centered care in patients' homes or facility settings. The role offers an hourly pay range of $25.00–$26.00 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will assist with personal care, monitor vital signs, provide comfort, support mobility, and help families during critical moments as part of a supportive team focused on end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• Minimum 75 hours CNA training.
• 1 year hospice, home health, or acute care preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle.
• Strong communication and independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes.
• Provide comfort care and prevent skin breakdown.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Provide medication reminders per regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Communicate patient updates promptly to the care team.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Provide respite support for caregivers.

What You Bring

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Minimum of 75 hours of CNA training
• One year of experience in hospice, home health, or acute care preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Compassion and professionalism when providing end-of-life care
