Job summary

The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. Walk-in interviews are available on Wednesdays from 12p to 5p.

You will support residents with daily activities and promote their well-being in a caring, professional environment. Requirements include completing a CNA program, current NY State CNA certification, and good standing with the State Registry.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current NY State Certification as a CNA.
• Good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Must meet the requirements set by the Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate resident care as directed by nursing staff.
• Assist residents with hygiene, bathing, and ADLs (activities of daily living).
• Pass meal trays, feed residents, and monitor food and fluid intake.
• Monitor residents, reporting any changes in health or concerns to the nurse.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment, ensuring comfort and safety for residents.
