Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• Ability to provide quality resident care with compassion.

Responsibilities

Role

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible to provide direct, hands‑on care to residents in a nursing home environment to ensure residents attain or maintain the highest possible physical, mental and emotional well‑being possible.

Responsibilities

• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows and upholds The Community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plan.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows and upholds policies and procedures of The Community.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows and upholds rules outlined in the Community’s employee handbook.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant follows infection control guidelines.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant reports changes in resident’s condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
