Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill in Orange County, New York, is recruiting enthusiastic CNAs for ALL SHIFTS to join our dedicated staff. Under supervision, CNAs provide direct nursing care to residents and support daily comfort needs.

Responsibilities

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports observations to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps units clean and in order.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after discharge.
