Job summary

The Brooklyn Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Brooklyn, NY is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to work all shifts. You will observe residents, assist with hygiene, meals, and daily living activities, and document care in the charting system.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Provide personal hygiene care including bed baths and shaving.
• Assist with meal setup and document intake of food and fluids.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements as needed.
• Make beds and keep the resident space clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility and assist mobility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member
