Job summary

Brentwood Place One, a long-term care facility in Dallas, is seeking a Texas Certified Nurse Aide to join our dedicated team. Candidates need at least 6 months of CNA experience and must pass state certification. We offer full-time hours and a benefits package including health, dental, life and vision insurance along with 401(k) matching.

Join our team of compassionate caregivers at 3505-2 S. Buckner Blvd, Dallas, TX 75227-5451 and help residents receive excellent daily nursing care.

Qualifications

• Texas Certified Nurse Aide required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to deliver care.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct resident care.
• Keep water pitchers clean, filled with fresh drinking water and within resident reach.
• Other duties as directed by the Charge Nurse or Administrator.

Qualifications:

• Texas Certified Nurse Aide

General Duties:

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
