Job summary

WeCare Centers is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team at Avalon Care Center in New Castle, PA. You will assist residents with daily activities, observe health status, and report concerns to the supervising nurse. We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, and a supportive work environment.

Experience in patient hygiene, feeding, and bedside care is valued. Valid PA CNA certification is required to join our compassionate team committed to quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Valid PA CNA certification required.
• Experience with patient care and daily activities is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Resident observation.
• Report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Maintain resident personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Feeding residents and documenting intake.
• Make resident beds and keep space clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents.
• Provide a caring and compassionate atmosphere for residents and family members.
• Assist with providing clinical care as directed.

Job Duties

• Resident observation.

• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.

• Maintaining resident’s personal hygiene, including but not limited to bed bath, shaving, ect.

• Feeding of residents and documenting intake.

• Making resident beds and ensuring resident space is clean and tidy.

• Transporting residents within the facility.
