Qualifications

• 2 years of caregiving experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to drive within a 25-mile radius of your home.
• Ability to work with both male and female patients.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Providing in-home companionship to elderly clients.
• Assisting with personal hygiene and basic needs, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing.
• Reminding clients to take prescribed medication.
• Helping with mobility around the home and outside the home, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
• Planning and preparing meals.
• Completing client shopping or accompanying clients while they shop.
• Performing basic housekeeping duties.
• Reporting unusual incidents and responding quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
• Offering activities that are essential for daily living.

As an Amada caregiver, you’ll provide compassionate, dependable support that helps elderly clients remain comfortable, safe, engaged, and independent in their homes.
