About You In Home Senior Care in Metairie, LA is seeking compassionate CNAs or caregivers to provide quality care to elderly clients in their homes or facilities.

The role includes daily care tasks, comfort measures, monitoring, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, plus emotional support. Flexible day/night shifts and weekly pay with health insurance after 90 days for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• State CNA certification (if applicable).
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication abilities, especially oral communication.
• Calm, professional demeanor under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Daily Care Assistance: turning, ambulation, personal hygiene, nutrition/hydration.
• Comfort measures: baths, ice packs, dressings as needed for client comfort.
• Monitoring and Reporting: record intake/output and communicate with physicians and nurses.
• Collaboration: work with a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized care.
• Emotional Support: provide companionship and reassurance to clients.
