Job summary

Ambercare is hiring Caregivers in New Mexico to provide in-home support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Earn at least $18 per hour with flexible, part-time hours and daily pay options for select roles.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Satisfactory background check and valid driver’s license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to compassionately care for others.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication.
• Assist with therapy exercises under a Registered Therapist.
• Perform personal care tasks (hair, hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assist with routine bodily functions.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment including housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and accompany to appointments.
• Observe and report changes to the Agency Director or Service Coordinator.
• Turn or reposition bedridden patients.
• Check for bruises or injuries.
