Job summary

The Palmettos of Garden City is seeking a Caregiver / Certified Nursing Assistant to join the team in Murrells Inlet, SC. You will deliver direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision, assisting residents with daily living activities and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include morning and evening care, assistance with admissions/transfers/discharges, and precise charting in patient records.

Qualifications

• Attend in-service programs to learn procedures and meet state requirements.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Capable of charting accurately in the Patient Care Record or other forms.
• Pleasant and cheerful personality.
• Tactful and courteous with patients and visitors.
• Treat all patient information as confidential material.
• Adhere to dress code as directed by center policy.

Responsibilities

• Under universal precautions, perform care tasks as assigned or report to charge nurse.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Provide morning care (bed bath, oral hygiene, hair care, dressing, linen changes).
• Provide evening care (face/hand washing, oral hygiene, skin care, linen changes).
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and accurate documentation.
