Job summary

Amada Senior Care in Union County / Charlotte metro area is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care, helping seniors maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

As a caregiver, you will assist with daily living activities, follow care plans, and work with a supportive team. Flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, PRN) and competitive pay with mileage reimbursement are available in a locally-owned franchise that values community impact.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of documented caregiving experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Compassionate, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care.
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, walking, and range of motion exercises.
• Take and record vital signs, measure intake/output, and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or outings as needed.
• Follow individualized care plans under supervision of our Director of Nursing / Registered Nurse
• Practice infection control, Universal Precautions, and emergency response protocols
• Uphold clients' rights to privacy, dignity, and choice at all times
