Job summary

The role requires a Montana CNA and BLS (RQI) within 7 days of hire, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team and independently. Shift is variable across 8-hour blocks.

Qualifications

• Current Montana CNA certificate required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter with critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance of assigned leadership.
• Communicates with leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
• Performs accurate CNA assessments and records vital signs, reporting abnormalities.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality per Logan Health policies.
• Assists with activities of daily living and documentation of care.
• Maintains inventory and room supplies; supports safety and cleanliness.
• Contributes to Medicare and regulatory compliance and day-to-day operations.
