Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to support patient care under RN direction at CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha. You will provide essential comfort, safety, and basic care while contributing to the patient’s plan of care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires completion of a 75-hour state-approved CNA course, Nebraska CNA certification, and CPR/BLS. You will work on-site with compassionate service and a commitment to high-quality healthcare.

Qualifications

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.

Every day, you will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.

• Under the direction and supervision of the Licensed Practitioner, RN or LPN, participates in the nursing process which includes: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate. The nursing process is an ongoing process that can end at any stage.
• Assessment - Contributes to the assessment of the health status of the healthcare consumer.
• Plan – Contributes to the plan of care through observation, data collection and communication of findings to the appropriate member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement – Provides basic patient care activities based on the plan of care and as delegated.
• Evaluate – Contributes to the evaluation of the healthcare consumer by observing responses to interventions and communicating findings to the appropriate member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Documents cares provided in the healthcare consumer’s record.

Pay Range
