Job summary

Nebraska Medicine's Bellevue Neurosciences Clinic is seeking a dedicated CNA for first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:45am–4:30pm, 40 hours per week. You will assist patients with daily care and support nurses and providers in delivering specialized neurological care.

You must be at least 16, hold Nebraska CNA certification, have strong communication, and obtain BLS from an AHA-approved program within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association within 30 days of hire (AHA-endorsed).
• Demonstrated effective communication skills.

Job Description:

Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 16 years of age required.
• Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
