Job summary

Avalon Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team across settings including hospitals, nursing homes, and home care. We welcome licensed CNAs to apply for this rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.
• Experience in patient care across hospital, nursing home, or home health settings is preferred.
• Ability to follow HIPAA and infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Provide basic medical care including catheter care and medication administration under supervision.
• Support patients with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Document patient information accurately in EHRs and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team about needs and progress.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance caregiving skills.

Duties of Certified Nursing Assistant CNA
