Job summary

FH Staffing in Watertown, MA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our daily care team. You will assist residents with daily living activities, meals, hygiene, mobility and mobility transfers, while maintaining safety and dignity.

You will observe health changes and report to the supervising nurse, document intake, and support nutrition and hydration schedules. Ideal candidates have a CNA license and at least 1 year of CNA experience; we offer a family-friendly

• CNA license is required.
• 1 year CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including meals, turning, ambulating, and assisting with hydration.
• Support residents with personal hygiene and feeding.
• Observe health issues and report to supervising nurse.
• Document resident food and fluid intake.
• Maintain clean and tidy living areas and assist with mobility and transfers.
• Transport residents within the facility and assist other staff as needed.
• Follow facility policies and protect resident confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
• Help Residents with personal hygiene
• Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Document Resident food and fluid intake
• Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Making the Resident’s beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
• Transport Residents within the facility
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
• Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
• Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data

Experience:

• CNA: 1 year (Preferred)

License:

• CNA (Required)
