Qualifications

• Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, provide routine direct patient care within unit policies and procedures.
• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of two semesters of RN academic program or CNA program required.
• Upon hire: California Nursing Assistant Certification License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Report pertinent information to the RN and respond to patient care needs.
• Follow unit policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse the Nurse Assistant will provide routine direct patient care within specific unit policies and procedures, report pertinent information to the Registered Nurse and respond to patient care needs.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Coursework/Training and Completion of two (2) semesters of a Registered Nurse academic program.Or
• Coursework/Training and Completion of California Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
