Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required (education level).
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification and BLS certification are required.
• Minimum six months’ experience in acute or long-term care facility.
• Ability to follow directions and work under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Documents vital signs and patient information accurately.
• Assists with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Responds to patient call lights and requests.
• Maintains clean and safe patient environment.
• Assists with feeding and positioning as needed.
