Job summary

Centinela Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for its inpatient rehabilitation unit in Inglewood, CA. You will support daily living activities and assist in delivering safe, patient-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualified candidates hold a CNA license, BCLS certification, and demonstrate English proficiency, medical terminology knowledge, and a commitment to patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certificate.
• Current BCLS (ARC or AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous experience in an acute care hospital, physician’s office or skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 90 days from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care under the direction of the RN.
• Maintains a safe environment and supports rehab team in patient care.
