Job summary

Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, MT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Acute Care. This full-time role covers three 12-hour shifts per week with starting pay of $17.50+ per hour, depending on experience and internal equity.

As a CNA, you will work with nurses and other clinicians to support patient care, comfort, and safety across hospital settings. The position offers hands-on patient interaction, opportunities to build clinical skills, and a meaningful role in the community.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: help with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and comfort.
• Clinical Support: obtain vital signs, document observations, record intake/output, collect specimens, assist with EKG tasks.
• Team Collaboration: respond to patient needs, communicate changes, participate in care team discussions.
• Department Support: maintain supplies, assist in unit organization, attend training and staff meetings.
