Job summary

Orison-Solutions-LLC is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with 1 year of experience for acute care on telemetry floors. Shifts include a mix of 8- and 12-hour days or nights. Start date 09/21/2026.

The CNA will collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and physicians to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills, with a state CNA certification and current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification/license in the applicable state.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous acute-care or hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or other licensed healthcare professional.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist patients with mobility, ambulation, transfers, and repositioning.
• Measure and document vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation as directed.
• Assist with feeding and hydration while following patient-specific dietary requirements.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nursing staff.
• Answer call lights and respond promptly to patient requests.
• Assist nurses with patient care procedures within the CNA's authorized scope of practice.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
• Assist with transporting patients to diagnostic tests, procedures, and other departments.
• Follow infection-control procedures and hospital safety protocols.
• Accurately document patient care and observations in the EMR.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge-related activities as directed.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
