Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA Certification with 2 years of current experience in social or a recreational program.
• Experience coordinating activities for residents or patients.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Activity Manager in providing an ongoing program of activities.
• Assists with activity programs as planned to meet residents' needs and interests.
• Completes records of attendance and participation in activities.
• Assists with assessments, care plans, and gathering information to design activities.
• Escorts residents to and from activities when needed.
• Contributes to development of the Activity calendars.
• Provides personal care and services during activities as needed, including ADLs and documentation.
• Obtains and records vital signs and weight as assigned.
• Documents all care accurately and in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Maintains patient comfort, answers call lights, and reports observations to nursing staff.
• Protects patient information and adheres to standards and regulations.
