Job summary

The Arlington of Naples is seeking a part-time CNA for 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) to provide direct care and support in a luxury senior living community in Naples, FL. A valid Florida CNA license and CPR are required, with English proficiency to document care and communicate with residents and staff.

Starting at $20/hr, based on experience, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401K match, and referral programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Florida CNA license and CPR.
• Ability to speak, write and comprehend English.
• Experience with resident care tasks as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in activities of daily living including bathing, grooming and feeding.
• Repositions patients and assists transfers from beds and wheelchairs.
• Observes residents and reports unusual findings to the charge nurse.
• Ensures call system is within reach and answered promptly.
• Assists with measurements and vitals like height, temperature and pulse.
• May assist residents with errands and activities.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provides direct patient care in all aspects of activities of daily living, bathing, showering, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting.
• Repositioning patients and transferring from beds, wheelchairs, etc.
• Assist with resident needs by observing and reporting all unusual finds to charge nurse.
• Ensure the call system is within the reach of resident and answered promptly.
• Assist nursing staff with height measurements, temperature and pulse respirations.
• May assist residents with errands, and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Florida license as a Certified Nursing Assistant and CPR.
• MUSThave the ability to Speak, Write and Comprehend the English Language.
• Ability to document patient records using PCC, and complete in-service training.
