Job summary

American Advanced Management, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Stockton, CA to join the patient care team. This part-time, day-shift role supports daily living activities, monitors vital signs, and reports changes to licensed staff.

You will help transfer and position patients, maintain safety and infection control, and offer companionship to patients. Ideal candidates hold a state-approved CNA certificate, current BLS, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a key member of the patient care team, responsible for providing essential daily living support and basic patient care. Working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the CNA ensures patient comfort, safety, and overall well‑being in various healthcare settings.

Essential Functions

• Direct Patient Care:
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
  • Measure and record vital signs; promptly report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Support & Safety:
  • Aid in transferring and positioning patients to prevent falls and injuries.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by following infection control protocols.
• Patient Interaction:
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
• Additional Duties:
  • Assist with routine tasks as assigned by nursing supervisors or other healthcare professionals.

0.6 FTE (2x12's/week)
