Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid NYS CNA Certification required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Safely transfer, transport, and reposition residents using proper equipment.
• Record vital signs and weights as directed.
• Protect resident dignity, privacy, and rights at all times.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and restorative nursing activities.
• Observe changes and report to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and care areas.
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Perform additional duties within CNA scope as assigned.

Rate: $18.21–$21.90/hour (depending on experience)

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident rooms and care areas
• Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, and facility policies
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to provide high‑quality resident care
• Perform additional duties within the CNA scope of practice as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification (required)
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or with a geriatric population (preferred)
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
