Job summary

Canyon Home Care & Hospice is hiring CNAs in Vermont. We are seeking compassionate and enthusiastic caregivers to join our fast-growing team in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities, personal care and light housekeeping. Prior home health or hospice experience is preferred, and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state CNA and CPR certifications.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong oral and written communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with doctors, nurses and healthcare personnel.
• Detail-oriented and goal-driven.
• Understand federal, state and local healthcare standards and regulations.
• Must have reliable transportation and provide proof of automobile insurance.
• Background check clearance required.

We require our CNA's to consistently relate positively with patients and their families. We work together to provide the best possible service and pride ourselves on quality patient care.

Previous Home Health and/or Hospice experience is preferred, but not necessary. Reliable transportation is required.
