Job summary

Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in New Haven, CT is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for first and second shifts. The role involves supporting residents with daily living activities and working with an interdisciplinary team to provide dignified care.

Qualifications

• Active CNA Certification in CT.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility.
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper techniques.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Document care provided in accordance with facility policies.

Job Type: Part-Time | First and second shift

We are currently hiring part time, every other weekend, CNAs for first shift (7am-3pm) and second shift (3pm-11pm).

Position Summary:

As a CNA, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents' health and well-being. You'll work alongside licensed nurses and an interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive exceptional care with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Measure and record vital signs and report any changes in resident condition
• Support residents with transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Document care provided in accordance with facility policies
