Job summary

ACCESSIBLE HOMECARE SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join their home care team. The role provides essential support to Clients in a home setting, helping with daily living activities and monitoring health to ensure a safe, comfortable environment.

You will work closely with registered nurses and other health professionals to deliver high-quality Client care, with a focus on companionship and safe care in a part-time, in-person capacity.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Experience in care settings (hospitals, home care, geriatric/behavioral health) preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and infection control.
• Document Client care activities accurately.
• Communicate with Clients, families and health care team about changes.
• Support Clients with medication reminders.
• Participate in training programs for dementia, hospice, or critical care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our home care team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to Clients in a home setting. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring Client health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all Clients. The Caregiver will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality Client care.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to Clients.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for Clients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document Client care activities accurately.
• Communicate effectively with Clients, families, and healthcare team members regarding Client needs and changes in condition.
• Support Clients with medication reminders.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills in areas such as dementia care, hospice care, and critical care experience.

Skills

• CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience in critical care settings or long-term care environments.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA regulations.
• Familiarity with caregiving techniques for individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimer’s disease.
• Experience working in various healthcare settings which can include hospitals, outpatient clinics, home care, geriatrics, or behavioral health environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Basic life support certification is preferred.
