Avir Trilogy's Treemont location in Houston, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the night shift. You will assist residents with daily living tasks, monitor health needs, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

The ideal candidate is listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry or will certify within four months, with the ability to stay organized and calm under pressure while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry or become certified within four months of hire.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.
• Comfort working with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, or upset.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Provide toileting assistance and safe transfer support with a gait belt.
• Answer call lights promptly to determine resident needs.
• Assist with walking and transportation; monitor vitals, weights, and intake/output.
• Provide catheter care as required and maintain a clean, safe environment.

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Night Shift team at Avir at Treemont in Houston, Texas. As a CNA at Avir, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, providing top-notch care and support while working closely with our dedicated healthcare team.

What You'll Do:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs
• Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed
• Provide catheter care as required
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
